BA, LLB – Principal
Graduating in 1971, David Brown has practised as a Barrister and Solicitor since. He established David J Brown & Associates in 1988 with the vision of being an approachable, professional practice that works hard to find the best solutions for its clients.
As an active member of the Titirangi community, David is a familiar face in many of the area’s organisations including the Titirangi Tennis and Squash Racquets Club where he is honorary solicitor, the Titirangi Presbyterian Church Board, where he has been Chairman and the New Lynn Rotary Club where he has been a Rotarian since 1979 and has twice been Club President. David was also the secretary of Titirangi Village project, a tremendous venture that led to the creation of the now vibrant Tititrangi Village Project.
David is a passionate problem solver and thoroughly enjoys working with the diversity of clientele that walk through the doors of his practice each day. And it’s a passion that is in the blood of the Brown family – David’s wife Linda the practice’s office manager, and one of his daughters who is also a Solicitor.

Paula now works with David and his team closer to home and enjoys the shorter commute.
Paula’s main experience is in conveyancing and associated financing matters and enjoys the intensity of the transaction process. She is also happy to lend her hand to anything that comes her way.
Paula is a wife and mother to her son Luka and is experienced in not only managing chaos but has noticed the increasingly high demand for negotiation. When she has the time she loves to walk and play indoor netball. Paula is in the office four days a week.
Aaron has recently joined the team at David J Brown & Associates, and is sharing a solicitor role with Jaimee. Together they expand the areas of expertise the firm now provides our clients.
Returning from living and travelling overseas Aaron studied law and was admitted in 2000. Initially employed as an advocate for a large, nation wide employee collective, and then as a general solicitor in Auckland; he then worked for 7 years as a Barrister sole where he grew a practice primarily in Accident Compensation, Employment, and Company Law.
In recent years Aaron has owned and managed a cutting edge technology and internet based company. This has provided further expertise and interest in emerging legal jurisdictions surrounding the internet, software development, and intellectual property.
His love of the law, the local community, and giving everyone a fair go has seen him step back from the day to day of his company and return to practicing. He is a Titirangi local and the father of two boys schooled locally.
Jaimee is a Solicitor who has been practicing for over 7 years. Since being admitted in 2006 she has worked in a local West Auckland firm and one of New Zealand’s largest law firms. Jaimee’s competitive nature and compassionate approach means she is able to find a win-win scenario in any case, whilst keeping her clients’ interests first and foremost. This commitment to her clients has suited her well in successfully acting for individuals through to large corporate clients.
Jaimee has lived in Titirangi since 2007 and is married with two young children. When she has spare time she enjoys the laid-back Titirangi lifestyle and being active. Jaimee is in the office three days a week.
